Mayans, the one and only know experts in astronomy. Till date, with all the latest technologies and scientific advancements, people could not compete with their predictions and analysis. They were very good astronomers in their observation of the solar system, especially sun, moon and planets. Current researches predict that the changes in the sun’s intensity would have brought their civilization to an end.
The intense study about these genius astronomers brings more facts to light about their civilization. The Yucatan Peninsula is believed to be the Mayan’s core place of living during their civilization, during when severe drought had struck the place due the cyclic changes in sun’s temperature. Hodell, a researcher adds that during the 9th century, the Mayans civilization had faced drought for more than 150 years which would have resulted in their extinct.
The methods and the ways they use to predict the future in still considered to be highly complex to be understood. They were the first to analyze the earth’s cycle relating to the solar system. Based on those researches they created the earth’s calendar, which says the cycle of 206 years will take a new phase in 2012.
Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me.
